Greyhounds as pets Flash day fundraiser

We are celebrating 18 years of greyhound rehoming with a Flash Tattoo Fundraiser at Boneface Brewing Company in Upper Hutt! You are invited to hang out with greyhounds, enjoy a cold beverage, and get a flash tattoo from one of the fantastic artists of Dr Morse Studio.

The good folks of Dr Morse are donating 50% of all tattoo proceeds earned to our adoptables and our rehoming efforts! Boneface is also going to be raising some funds and showing some love to all of our Speed Noodles who are waiting for their furever homes.

Whether you are keen to get inked with a small homage to your house horse or you are just keen for a tattoo in general and love the idea of getting to cuddle a greyhound before and after, then this event is for you. All you have to do is turn up at Boneface Brewing company on Sunday the 15th of September between 11 am and 5 pm!

Flash Tattoo bookings are first in first served, start at $150.00, and placement is limited to limbs only. Dr Morse's artists will not tattoo anyone who is inebriated or under 18 years old.

Brought to you by the creative team at Suga Mamas Ltd, this year's event will be held on the 7th of May at The Wharewaka Function Center. After the incredible success of our first charity event in 2021, we are back, bigger, bolder and brighter than ever! Once again we are raising money for an incredible organisation that’s dear to our hearts, Wellington Rape Crisis.

This event was conceived as a way to combat sexism and promote women in the tattoo industry as powerful, talented and a legitimate force in their own right. All Inked and Empowered artists, crew members and vendors identify as female, cis, non binary, trans or gender queer. We want to support them all in a way that they feel comfortable, seen, heard and represented.

As well showcasing our incredible tattoo artists we will have a separate space at our venue hosting the Inked & Empowered Markets! Our Markets will include female and nonbinary lead small businesses, vendors, information stalls, merch, goodie bags, raffles and more!

The Inked and Empowered Flash Day Fundraiser is a free event (Koha donations welcome). Tattoos will be priced individually and will be on arms and legs only. First in first served. You must be 18+ to get tattooed. There will be some adult content throughout the event, so viewer discretion is advised.

In the evening we’ll be hosting the Inked and Empowered Variety Show which will feature super talented international and local female identifying/non binary/queer performers! Our line up includes Pole dancing, Comedy, Live Music, Burlesque, Circus acts, Opera Singing, Sword Swallowing and more!!

The team at Dr Morse are so excited to be hosting a massive charity event on the 2nd of May 2021!

Female identifying & ENBY tattoo artists from all around Wellington are setting up in the Dr Morse studio for our one day flash event where profits go to Wellington Rape Crisis.

You all may be aware that sexism in the tattoo industry is still rife, and this event was conceived as a way to promote women in our industry as a powerful, talented and legitimate force in their own right. All the people taking part as artists in this event identify as women, and are cis, non binary trans and gender queer. We want to support them all in a way that they felt comfortable with, as well as visible, seen, heard and represented.

We want to celebrate and bring together the female identifying tattoo artists of wellington as well as help out this amazing charity. We will have merch to sell, raffles, goodie bags and much more! We want you to help us raise as much money as we can!

All inclusive and open-minded people are invited to come along and show their support and get some sick tatts at the same time! Every bit counts!
