Like many artists my passion for creating began as soon as I could hold a pencil, but I found my passion for tattooing while studying to be a doctor instead. I spent nearly five years as a medical student before becoming a tattoo artist and the experience I gained in those years has greatly influenced the way I work with clients and create art today. My time in med gave me in-depth knowledge of human anatomy and healing, and my training in patient care and surgery came with a surprising amount of transferable skills in tattoo.
My artistic inspiration often comes from dark surrealism, thrillers and horrors, creature concept art and liminal spaces. I also adore Art Nouveau, scientific illustration, and magical realism, and these themes often come through in my work.
I love doing detailed custom work and am always keen for large projects!
